Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate dialysis nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As a dialysis travel nurse, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of patients and develop your skills in a new and challenging setting.

Responsibilities
  • Assess patient response to dialysis therapy and make appropriate adjustments as needed.
  • Administer medications as ordered and educate patients and families about end-stage renal disease, dialysis therapy, diet, and medications.
  • Assess educational needs of patients and provide education to promote optimal health outcomes.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide emotional support and counseling to patients and families.
Requirements
  • 1+ year of recent experience as a dialysis nurse.
  • Current state-specific RN license in good standing, or if applicable, a compact state RN license in good standing.
  • BLS certification required (Chronic and Acute settings).
  • ACLS certification required (Acute setting only).
