Job Summary
Northwell Health is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse Specialist to join our team in the Operating Room. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a comprehensive, multi-disciplinary treatment approach.
Responsibilities
- Assess residents' need for PRN medication and administer prescribed medication and treatment.
- Participate in a comprehensive, multi-disciplinary treatment team approach to resident care.
- Evaluate and plan for individual resident treatment programs.
- Provide input regarding relevant medical issues and interventions in the formulation of the Recovery Plan.
- Encourage resident interactions and reviews residents' response to medication.
- Assist supervisor in ordering, preparing, and administering prescribed drugs.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing required.
- Current License to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State required, plus specialized certifications as needed.
- 5-7 years of relevant experience and 0-2 years of leadership / management experience, required.
Salary and Benefits
The salary range for this position is $54.93-$85.23/hour. Northwell Health offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a 401(k) plan and paid time off.
