Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and satisfaction.
  • Precept new staff members and contribute to the development of nursing staff.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest evidence-based practices and guidelines in emergency nursing.

Requirements:

  • Current RN licensure in the state of Colorado.
  • BCEN's certification in emergency nursing (CEN) or willingness to obtain within 6 months.
  • 1+ year of experience in emergency nursing or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
