Nuvance Health is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the efficient operation of our facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Perform MRI exams following established protocols and guidelines to produce high-quality images.
- Operate and maintain MRI equipment, including troubleshooting and performing routine maintenance tasks.
- Prepare patients for procedures, providing clear instructions and ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
- Participate in quality assurance and quality control activities to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program with additional training in MRI scanning.
- Current certification as an MRI Technologist (R) from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- State licensure as a radiologic technologist in New York.
- 1 year of experience in MRI scanning, with preference given to those with ARRT (MR) certification and IV certification.
