Position Overview

Key Responsibilities:

1. Supervise and direct the overall accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and tax compliance.
2. Ensure the accuracy and efficiency of daily accounting activities, including cash disbursements, invoicing, collections, payroll, inventory management, and fixed asset accounting.
3. Establish and uphold internal financial controls and procedures.
4. Perform regular maintenance of financial ledgers.
5. Generate business activity reports, financial forecasts, and annual budgets.
6. Conduct periodic audits to verify compliance with applicable regulations; collaborate with external auditors.
7. Analyze financial statements and identify opportunities for cost reduction.
8. Collaborate closely with the CFO to facilitate seamless financial operations.
9. Contribute to strategic decision-making processes that promote business growth and sustainability.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; CPA or MBA is highly desirable.
2. At least 3 years of experience in a senior finance or accounting role.
3. Comprehensive knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), internal controls, and financial reporting standards.
4. Proficient in corporate accounting practices and familiar with GAAP, SEC regulations, and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.
5. Experience in the healthcare industry is advantageous.
6. Background in cost accounting and budgeting is preferred.
7. Proven track record as an auditor with a thorough understanding of auditing standards.
8. Strong grasp of economic and banking principles.
9. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
10. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
11. High proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with relevant accounting software (e.g., SAP).
12. In-depth knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, cost accounting, and cost control principles, along with GAAP.
