Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly qualified Maintenance Mechanic for our Blown Film division. The ideal candidate will take a hands-on approach to oversee all repair, maintenance, and enhancement activities within our manufacturing facility. A strong foundation in blown film, polyethylene, extrusion, converting, electrical controls, and maintenance is essential. Candidates should possess a robust background in equipment upkeep, troubleshooting, electrical systems, mechanical systems, and preventive maintenance. This is a full-time, permanent role requiring a minimum of three years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage all maintenance activities for our blown film production lines, ensuring optimal productivity and efficiency.
  • Create and execute preventive maintenance strategies to enhance equipment uptime and longevity.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues with electrical and mechanical systems to minimize production downtime.
  • Collaborate with the production team to plan maintenance and repairs with minimal disruption to operations.
  • Oversee inventory management of spare parts and maintenance supplies to ensure readiness for repairs.
  • Lead and mentor maintenance personnel, promoting a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
  • Work with management to formulate budgets for maintenance activities, ensuring adherence to financial guidelines.
  • Stay informed about the latest technologies and best practices in blown film manufacturing, proposing enhancements to processes and equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental standards.

Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated experience in blown film, polyethylene, extrusion, converting, electrical controls, and maintenance.
  • In-depth knowledge of equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, electrical systems, mechanical systems, and preventive maintenance.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to resolve complex machinery challenges.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Capability to perform under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • Familiarity with applicable safety and environmental regulations.
