Construction Worker

We are seeking a skilled Construction Laborer to join our team at Recon Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing various tasks related to physical labor on our construction sites.

• Ensure compliance with all company and site-specific safety policies and procedures.
• Participate in Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and contribute to the development of the Job Safety Analysis Plan (JSAP).
• Perform tasks such as digging ditches, backfilling excavations, and compacting earth to grade specifications.
• Prepare materials for use on site, eliminating potential hazards.
• Control traffic near work zones and signal equipment operators to facilitate alignment and movement of machinery and materials.
• Measure and record openings and distances to layout areas for construction work.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and interpret hand signals to determine material placement or loading.
• Perform manual tasks for extended periods, including lifting, positioning, and securing materials.
• Responsible for tool care and custody, including daily cleaning and maintenance.

• Ability to travel as required over extended periods.
• Capacity to operate construction tools by hand.
• Ability to perform labor tasks while using different levels of PPE and respiratory equipment.
• Capacity to work in all outdoor weather conditions.
• Ability to read, write, and understand math and English to respond to customer requests and follow instructions.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly, climb, operate motorized vehicles, and work in confined spaces.
