Banfield Pet Hospital in Issaquah is seeking a skilled Veterinary Assistant to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for animal care and be committed to delivering exceptional patient experiences. As a key member of our hospital team, you will support and assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians, ensuring the safety and well-being of pets, clients, and other associates.

About the Role
  • Provide professional, efficient, and exceptional service at all times, making sure that clients and pets are comfortable in the hospital.
  • Use technical skills on a daily basis, within state practice acts and as outlined in the NAVTA guidelines for veterinary assistant skills and duties.
  • Maintain the flow of patients, communicate with veterinarians and vet techs, and carry out or set up procedures that do not require veterinarian or vet tech assistance.
Requirements
  • Certificate of completion from a NAVTA-approved veterinary assistant program or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Must be able to perform all required skills of NAVTA-approved veterinary assistant programs at a level that aids in the efficiency of the practice.
