We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the advancement of respiratory therapy.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist in the transportation of intubated patients, maintaining airways and providing adequate ventilation and oxygenation.
- Assess modalities of respiratory therapy and recommend changes to improve care quality and patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement effective respiratory care plans.
- AAS degree from an AMA-approved program in Respiratory Care.
- Eligibility for Certification by the National Board for Respiratory Care.
- Current NYS Respiratory Therapy licensure.
- BCLS certification.
