Respiratory Therapist Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the advancement of respiratory therapy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the transportation of intubated patients, maintaining airways and providing adequate ventilation and oxygenation.
  • Assess modalities of respiratory therapy and recommend changes to improve care quality and patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement effective respiratory care plans.
Requirements:
  • AAS degree from an AMA-approved program in Respiratory Care.
  • Eligibility for Certification by the National Board for Respiratory Care.
  • Current NYS Respiratory Therapy licensure.
  • BCLS certification.
