Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CT Technologist to join our team at Northeast Georgia Health System Inc. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality CT and X-ray procedures, working independently and effectively with others, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate CT and X-ray equipment according to equipment specifications and adhere to infection control and safety practices.
  • Follow good radiation safety practices, including coning, shielding, and film badge monitoring.
  • Produce high-quality images consistently within established protocols and maintain processors.
  • Maintain patient records according to department procedure and knowledge of appropriate use of contrast media.
  • Assess patients according to exam ordered and provide patient education pertinent to the exam being performed.
  • Comply with RIS standards and CPAC procedures when indicated.
  • Meet productivity standards defined by the department and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Requirements
  • Current ARRT licensure.
  • High School Diploma or GED and graduate of an accredited ARRT program.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience as a CT Technologist.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Preferred licensure or certifications.
  • Preferred educational requirements.
  • Preferred experience.
