About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Dental Hygienist to join our team at College Park Dental. As a key member of our dental care team, you will play a vital role in improving the oral health of our patients through the delivery of periodontal therapies and other hygiene-related services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality oral hygiene dental treatment and education to patients under limited supervision.
  • Conduct patient screenings, medical history, and dental charting to ensure accurate and comprehensive care.
  • Apply fluoride and protective sealants to prevent tooth decay and promote healthy teeth.
  • Remove calculus, stain, and plaque from above and below the gum line to maintain optimal oral health.
  • Provide nutritional counseling and self-care programs to prevent disease and promote overall well-being.
Requirements
  • Active Hygiene license for the state of Maryland.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with patients and colleagues.
