This is a full-time position that requires excellent organizational and teamwork skills. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing advice and support to residents and their families, monitoring residents' health, administering medication and treatments, and documenting resident care services.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert advice and support to residents and their families
  • Monitor residents' health and administer medication and treatments as needed
  • Document resident care services by charting in resident and department records
  • Protect residents and staff by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols
  • Resolve resident problems and needs by utilizing multidisciplinary team strategies
  • Assure quality of care by adhering to facility philosophies and standards of care
  • Supervise licensed practical nurses and certified nursing assistants
  • Maintain resident confidence by keeping information confidential

Requirements:

  • Must hold a valid RN license
  • Strong computer skills and ability to learn new software
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
  • Long-term care experience preferred
