We are seeking a highly skilled Accountant II to join our team at Gilbane Building Company. As a key member of our accounting team, you will be responsible for managing contracts, amendments, insurance, bonds, and other financial documents. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will ensure timely and accurate review of requisitions and lien waivers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage project financial closeout and ensure timely management of accounts receivable and payables
  • Develop and maintain positive professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Assist with internal and external audits and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Familiarity with WIP process and construction industry insurance products
Requirements
  • BS degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field
  • 3-5 years of experience with CM or General Contractor organization
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and CMiC
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
