Future Technologies Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Linux Systems Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for the administration and maintenance of our Linux systems, ensuring the smooth operation of our software products and services.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide system administration support to maintain, develop, and operate the hardware and networks suites of equipment utilized in the development of software products.
  • Support Cybersecurity related administration tasks, including system remediation, configuration, and development of A&A documentation.
  • Perform system initialization, deployment, accreditation and system administration functions for all Unclassified & Classified development servers and workstations.
  • Support Navy standards for A&A processes and procedures, including Risk Management Framework (RMF), and Platform Information Technology (PIT).
  • Implement and validate Security Technical Implementation Guidelines (STIG) requirements, installation checklists, and other security processes.
Qualifications:
  • Ten (10) years hands-on technical experience with system backup/recovery, basic software management, security management, network management, operating computer systems, sizing, performance, tuning, installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware, operation systems and COTS software.
  • Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux, VMWare 6, Nakivo backup management, IGEL / IGEL UMS.
  • Familiarity with GIT Clients for Windows.
  • Information Assurance Technicians (IAT) Level 2 or higher.
  • System Administrator with certification in current Operating Systems and Information Security.
