As an Endoscopy Technician, you'll play a vital role in our Gastrointestinal Diagnostic Lab, working closely with a registered nurse to prepare patients, rooms, and equipment for GI procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer preps, transport patients, and specimens with precision and care.
  • Ensure equipment maintenance, cleaning, and disinfecting are performed to the highest standards.
  • Assist nurses and physicians during procedures, performing Hemocult B testing and taking pH readings as needed.
  • Demonstrate expertise in working with endoscopy equipment, including scopes, light sources, and electrocautery systems.
  • Collaborate with the Endoscopy Manager to plan, communicate, and evaluate lab activities.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Specialized training in sterile processing, surgical technology, or on-the-job training preferred.
  • 1 year of related experience.
