Job Summary:

Focus Staff is seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to join our team of healthcare professionals. As a Labor and Delivery RN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with medical staff to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess and Develop Patient Care Plans: Conduct thorough assessments of patients and develop individualized care plans to meet their unique needs.
  • Provide Clinical Supervision: Supervise and mentor entry-level nurses to ensure they have the skills and knowledge necessary to provide high-quality patient care.
  • Collaborate with Medical Staff: Work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
  • Manage Patient Flow: Effectively manage patient flow to ensure efficient use of resources and minimize wait times.
  • Provide Education and Support: Educate patients and their families on various aspects of care, including pain management, labor and delivery procedures, and postpartum care.

Requirements:

  • Experience: At least 2 years of experience as a Labor and Delivery RN.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and listening skills, ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and strong knowledge of labor and delivery procedures.
  • Education: Current RN licensure and certification in Labor and Delivery.
