Plant Operations Manager

The Judge Group is in search of a qualified and seasoned Plant Operations Manager to lead and oversee the daily functions at a steel production facility. The successful candidate will have a robust background in steel production, coupled with strong leadership skills to guarantee the effective and safe operation of the plant.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all facets of steel production operations, including manufacturing, maintenance, quality assurance, and supply chain logistics.
• Establish and uphold operational policies and procedures to enhance productivity and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
• Serve as the primary contact for clients, suppliers, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders.
• Manage the financial aspects of plant operations, including profit and loss accountability, expense oversight, capital investment, and a focus on identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and revenue enhancement.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in operations management within the steel industry, aggregate sector, construction, or similar fields.
• A Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Experience with preventive maintenance strategies and industrial safety protocols is essential.
• Preferred experience in leading a maintenance team, including knowledge of heavy machinery operations.
• Strong project management skills, planning capabilities, and the ability to formulate a comprehensive business strategy.
