Responsibilities

As a Nuclear Medicine Tech, you will:

  • Prepare, measure, and administer radiopharmaceuticals for use in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
  • Provide clerical support for assigned department, including scheduling appointments, record keeping, and answering phones.
  • Perform quality control and maintain equipment, reporting areas of concern to the appropriate manager.
  • Adhere to policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.
  • Maintain credentials and/or licensures.
  • Participate in departmental meetings.
  • Take ownership of assignments and perform other duties as assigned or requested.
  • Communicate and listen effectively with internal and external customers, understanding instructions and sharing knowledge.
  • Cooperate and interact with supervisors, peers, other departments, and all customer groups, demonstrating our commitment to service.
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Graduation from an accredited Nuclear Medicine program.
  • ARRT(N), or NMTCB, or ASCP(N) certification.
  • Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certificate issued by the State of NM.
  • CPR certification.

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Two (2) years of related experience, including one (1) year of clinical internship.
