Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to lead our custom electrical design work for chiller solutions products. This role will be responsible for leading design teams, coaching junior engineers, and delivering design details on schedule to manufacturing teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Investigate and analyze product design proposals on electrical power panels, control panels, variable speed drives, and wire harnesses in accordance with UL, NEC, CSA, and CE codes.
  • Recommend solutions and conceptualize and implement design ideas into the product.
  • Prepare, check, and coordinate the release of documentation to support designs.
  • Provide technical direction to application engineers, designers, factory operations, product marketing, and product technical service.
  • Ensure the on-time completion of projects and continuously increase expertise on all aspects of chiller electrical design, theory, construction, operation, and applications.
  • Select the most suitable electrical components and apply standard and advanced technical and mathematical principles, theories, concepts, techniques, processes, and best practices in the field.
Requirements
  • Required Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum 8 years applicable experience with UL, NEC, CSA, and CE codes.
  • Skilled in analyzing electrical loads, designing power and control circuitry, reviewing control logic, and practicing mathematical theories and concepts.
  • Advanced knowledge of electrical components including motors, inverter drives, soft starters, contactors, and circuit breakers.
  • Strong electrical aptitude.
