Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist to join our team at Confluence Health. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of CT radiographic procedures, providing safe and efficient care to patients, and assisting in other sections of the department as needed.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Prepare and perform all CT examinations using assigned equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
  2. Evaluate diagnostic images for technical quality and completeness.
  3. Complete informed consent forms as needed and maintain accurate records.
  4. Develop and implement procedures for effective utilization of the CT scanner, ensuring optimal patient care and safety.
  5. Maintain the cleanliness of the scanner and associated equipment in accordance with infection control policies and procedures.
  6. Participate in quality improvement programs and maintain active Basic Life Support (CPR) certification.
  7. Perform IV access and administer contrast media under physician supervision, using sterile technique.
  8. Utilize PACS, RIS, and current EMR efficiently, completing required paperwork for each examination performed.
  9. Lift patients safely and transfer them using ergonomic techniques, when possible.
  10. Other duties as assigned by the Radiology Manager.

Requirements

  • ARRT registered in X-Ray.
  • Washington State certification as radiologic technologist.
  • Completion of a course in radiologic technology approved by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Minimum six months as a radiologic technologist to include fluoroscopy.

Preferred Qualifications

  • ARRT registered in CT or within one year of employment in CT classification.
  • CT experience.
