Job Summary

The RN Triage position at Johns Hopkins Community Physicians offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic, patient-centered environment. As a key member of our Odenton Pediatrics team, you will provide high-quality care and support to patients, families, and healthcare professionals.

About the Role

This is a non-exempt, part-time position (24 hours per week) working Monday through Friday, 8am-5:00pm. The successful candidate will respond to incoming patient calls and MyChart messages, providing timely triage of urgent symptoms and coordinating care with other healthcare professionals.

As a key contributor to our team, you will also provide patient education on acute and chronic medical conditions, collaborating with quality management and case management teams to ensure seamless care delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert-level triage and coordination of patient care
  • Develop and implement individualized plans of care, ensuring alignment with patient goals and priorities
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to promote effective communication and optimal patient outcomes
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments, identifying and addressing health needs, risks, and challenges
What You'll Need

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related field; Associate degree or Diploma in Nursing from an accredited program
  • Current Maryland licensure as a Registered Nurse or eligibility to obtain
  • Two years' relevant clinical experience, preferably in outpatient/ambulatory care or call center triage

The estimated salary for this position is $83,000-$110,000 per year, based on location, experience, and qualifications.
