Deputy Refugee Processing Business Manager

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Mission: Contribute to the success of the US Refugee Admissions Program by ensuring alignment with Department of State policy and procedures.
  • Operational Oversight: Supervise refugee case processing operations, identifying areas for improvement and implementing efficient solutions.
  • Team Management: Train and manage support teams to ensure effective coordination and collaboration.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Review and analyze reports, records, and directives to inform decision-making and pipeline management.
  • Collaboration and Coordination: Work closely with the software team to ensure seamless Refugee Operations activities.
  • Process Improvement: Evaluate and improve procedures and practices to enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Assess data to inform decision-making and drive business growth.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • US Citizenship: Must be a US citizen with the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree or equivalent with a minimum of five years of management experience in a similar field.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Hands-on experience in refugee processing, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to prepare management, business, technical, and personnel reports.
  • Desirable Qualifications: Experience in refugee processing from relevant government departments.
