Production Planner

At Daniel Defense, we are seeking a highly skilled Production Planner to join our team. As a key member of our manufacturing department, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating the production process to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain the build plan and master production schedule to meet customer demands and production capacity.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth production flow and identify potential bottlenecks.
- Monitor and control inventory levels to prevent stockouts and overstocking.
- Collaborate with procurement to ensure timely receipt of raw materials and components.
- Work with industrial engineers to optimize production processes and improve efficiency.
- Develop and implement process improvements to reduce lead times and increase productivity.
- Provide regular reports and updates to management on production progress and performance metrics.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., supply chain management, operations management, industrial engineering).
- 2-4 years of experience in a manufacturing or supply chain role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
Working Conditions:
- Must be able to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Requires intermittent standing, walking, sitting, and bending throughout the workday.
- Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment, including exposure to noise and chemicals.
