Key Responsibilities:- Assessment and Treatment: Conduct thorough assessments of patients, determine necessary care, and deliver emergency services using appropriate medical techniques and equipment.
- Documentation and Confidentiality: Accurately document patient information, condition, and treatment while maintaining confidentiality and patient rights.
- Environment and Equipment Maintenance: Ensure a safe, clean, and well-stocked environment for patients, and maintain equipment and tools in good working order.
- Communication and Collaboration: Work collaboratively with allied health and public safety personnel, as well as fellow EMTs, to provide seamless patient care.
- Operational Responsibilities: Safely operate an ambulance in accordance with company safety policies and traffic laws.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Licensure: State EMT License
- Certifications: BLS, NREMT
- Driving Record: Compliant with company policy
- Physical Agility: Pass Physical Agility Test
- Experience: Some work experience, preferably in healthcare
