Job Summary:

Hotel Julien, a boutique hotel in the heart of the Old Main District, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our culinary team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for assisting the Executive Chef in menu planning, food preparation, and kitchen management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Menu Planning and Preparation: Assist in the creation and implementation of menus that showcase our hotel's culinary expertise and meet the expectations of our discerning guests.
  • Culinary Excellence: Produce high-quality dishes that are visually appealing and meet the highest standards of taste and presentation.
  • Kitchen Management: Ensure that the kitchen operates efficiently and effectively, meeting our quality standards and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
  • Leadership and Training: Provide guidance and training to kitchen staff, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Inventory Management: Order supplies and manage inventory to ensure that the kitchen is well-stocked and prepared for peak periods.

Requirements:

  • Culinary Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Sous Chef or equivalent position in a high-end hotel or restaurant.
