Dishroom Attendant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Dishwasher to join our team at LOCAL GOAT TAVERN OF PIGEON FORGE LLC. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing clean utensils, plateware, glassware, and equipment to our guests and employees in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure all dishes are sanitized and available as needed.
• Set up and close down the dish machine according to established procedures.
• Maintain daily cleanliness and maintenance of the dish machine.
• Accommodate all servers and line cooks' requests as a priority.
• Keep the entire kitchen clean by sweeping, mopping floors, and emptying trash.
• Follow instructions and guidelines from the kitchen manager and chefs.
• Maintain a favorable working condition with fellow employees and managers, promoting a positive and cooperative work environment.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a kitchen or food service role is preferred.
• Strong teamwork skills.
• Ability to multitask and handle a high-volume workload.
• Stand and move for 6-8 hour shifts.
• Knowledge of food safety guidelines.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 pounds).
• Fluency in English is required; additional language skills are a plus.
