- Ensure that all nursing staff are aware of and comply with HIPAA regulations.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including healthcare providers and community organizations.
- Participate in performance evaluations and provide feedback to nursing staff.
- Develop and implement plans to improve the quality of care and services provided by the nursing department.
- Current RN license in the state of Alabama with no restrictions.
- 2 years experience in a mental health setting required.
- 2 years supervisory experience required.
- Familiarity of psycho-pharmacy and the use of psychotropic medications with the adult population required.
- Current Alabama driver's license and good driving record as defined by IRBH policy.
- Ability to read, write legibly, speak, and comprehend English.
This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to prioritize tasks effectively. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, and will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
