We are seeking a highly skilled Geotechnical Engineer to join our team at CDM Smith. As a Geotechnical Engineer, you will be responsible for creating engineering designs of basic to moderate complexity to meet client project requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and review engineering designs for geotechnical projects, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Conduct site reviews and studies to ensure designs align with location specifications.
- Perform soil sampling analyses and modeling.
- Contribute to the firm's technical knowledge management (TKM) by developing white papers and technical design documentation.
- Submit technical papers and designs for publishing to technical journals.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Geotechnical, Civil, Mining, or Geologic Engineering or a related discipline.
- 1 year of related experience.
- Domestic and/or international travel may be required.
