Join our dedicated team at STEPS, where we provide exceptional behavior therapy to individuals on the autism spectrum. We are seeking a Behavior Therapist or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) for evening hours, specifically from 4 PM to 7 PM, with a minimum commitment of three days per week.

As a Behavioral Therapist, you will deliver therapy grounded in the principles of ABA to children with Autism and related developmental challenges in various environments, including home, clinic, and educational settings.

Your role will involve implementing behavior modification strategies through individualized therapy sessions, collecting data electronically, assisting in parent training, and collaborating with fellow team members to provide invaluable support to our clients and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver one-on-one Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy
  • Execute individualized treatment plans developed by BCBAs
  • Gather data to assess the progress and effectiveness of treatment plans
  • Assist BCBAs in training families on implementing treatment strategies
  • Engage in team meetings and training workshops
  • Ensure a safe and supportive environment for clients
  • Adhere to the policies and procedures of STEPS, LLC

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Reliable transportation
  • Willingness to work flexible, full-time, or part-time schedules
  • Ability to handle confidential information with care
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Registered Behavior Technician Certification
  • Minimum of one year of experience working with children facing behavioral challenges
  • Bachelor's degree in a Behavioral Science or related discipline
  • At least one year of clinical experience with pediatric populations
  • Experience in ABA practices
