Hana Group North America, a leading provider of Japanese-inspired cuisine, is seeking a highly skilled Warehouse Supervisor to oversee inventory and staff in our warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Warehouse Director in hiring and training new employees, ensuring a high-performing team.
  • Schedule and oversee warehouse staff, ensuring efficient use of resources and meeting productivity goals.
  • Conduct timely and constructive performance evaluations, driving employee growth and development.
  • Receive and record new inventory, inspecting and storing it according to company policy.
  • Conduct physical inventory, comparing results to computerized inventory, and reconcile any differences.
  • Replenish stock and inventory as needed, ensuring optimal levels for customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure all stock is stored in correct locations in the warehouse, maintaining a safe and organized environment.
  • Transfer inventory to trucks for delivery in a timely manner and according to schedule.
  • Schedule materials being transferred to and from the warehouse, coordinating transfer of inventory between departments.
  • Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to develop strategic plans and procedures to increase the efficiency of warehouse practices.
  • Monitor expenditures, implementing corrective actions as needed to maintain budgetary control.
  • Enforce operating instructions and procedures, ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Lead and enforce safe operating policy within the warehouse, maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Monitor equipment preventative maintenance compliance and resolve routine equipment issues.
Requirements:
  • Associate degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or similar discipline highly encouraged.
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills required.
  • At least two years of experience in distribution or manufacturing required.
  • Proficient with data entry and inventory software and systems.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
