Job Summary

Soliant is seeking a skilled and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team on a contractual basis for a school-based position. As a Contract Occupational Therapist, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality care to students with diverse needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct Comprehensive Assessments: Evaluate clients' physical, cognitive, and emotional needs to develop effective treatment plans.
  • Develop and Implement Individualized Treatment Plans: Create personalized plans based on assessment findings to improve functional abilities and independence.
  • Provide Client-Centered Occupational Therapy Services: Focus on improving functional abilities and independence through occupational therapy services.
  • Collaborate with Healthcare Professionals: Work with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic and coordinated care.
  • Maintain Accurate Documentation: Document client progress, Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and treatment plans accurately and up-to-date.
  • Participate in IEP Meetings: Contribute to the overall development of therapeutic strategies and participate in IEP meetings.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy: Possess a Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • Current State Licensure: Hold current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Proven Experience: Have proven experience in providing occupational therapy services.
  • Strong Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to Work Independently and Collaboratively: Demonstrate the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Demonstrated Commitment to Professional Development: Show a demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development.
