This position is vital in directing Configuration and Data Management (CM/DM) projects, especially those associated with U.S. Government and Department of Defense (DoD) systems.

Responsibilities:


The Configuration Management Project Supervisor will oversee all facets of project execution, including technical guidance, budget management, and timeline compliance.

This role necessitates a robust background in Configuration and Data Management, with particular expertise in DoD and governmental systems.

Key responsibilities will encompass but are not limited to:

Direct and manage Configuration and Data Management projects for governmental and DoD systems

Supervise all dimensions of project execution, ensuring compliance with technical specifications, financial limits, and deadlines

Provide technical leadership and direction to project teams

Establish and enforce work standards and project timelines

Guide and mentor project staff

Facilitate effective communication of organizational policies, objectives, and goals to all team members

Collaborate with stakeholders, including government entities and other contractors

Remain informed on the latest trends and best practices in Configuration and Data Management

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree (preferably in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics)

A minimum of 10 years of combined general and specialized experience in Configuration and Data Management


Within those 10 years, at least 8 years of specialized experience in one or more specific areas of CM/DM as applied to system engineering processes for:

Government and DoD systems

Combat systems

System of systems

Emerging capabilities

Information technology systems

5 years of experience in leading and supervising personnel for a CM program

Demonstrated experience in all aspects of project execution, including technical, budgetary, and schedule management

Proven ability to provide technical direction to all project activities and personnel, including: Formulating and enforcing work standards

Assigning project timelines

Reviewing work

Supervising project personnel

Communicating policies and organizational goals to all project personnel

Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint

Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and external contacts

Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work independently or as part of a team

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:
Must currently hold an active Secret security clearance. US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
  • Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time
  • Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically
