This is a temp to permanent position requiring a face-to-face interview, welding test, and background check. Work schedule is Monday to Friday with day shifts and every other Saturday. Pay is $22 - $30.80/hr. depending on experience and weld test performance. Key Responsibilities
  • Weld steel structures, telecommunications shelters, skids, and other products as specified in blueprints.
  • Read and interpret blueprints for specifications.
  • Weld all necessary components, including floors, walls, and roofs, as required.
  • Perform all welding and fabrication tasks in the plant as directed by the supervisor.
  • Use a grinder to smooth welds.
Requirements
  • Previous welding experience with MIG flux core wire.
  • Ability to pass a 1G and 3G x-rayed vertical weld test.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic math skills and problem-solving ability.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Mechanical aptitude and hand-eye coordination.
  • Ability to read a tape measure and identify paint colors and wires.
  • Pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
