Pallet Inspector/Palamatic Operator Job Description

Ryder is seeking a skilled Pallet Inspector/Palamatic Operator to join our team at our Colton, CA warehouse manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect pallets at a rate that meets company standards and in a manner that meets company safety standards.
  • Manually lift 70lb pallets from a stack to a rolling line; in addition lift the pallets for inspection and separation utilizing the palamatic machine.
  • Ensure that proper inspection and separation is met.
  • Conduct physical inventories as required.
  • Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area.
  • Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse.
  • Comply with OSHA and MSDS Standards.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • 1 to 2 years or more in Carpentry, Manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Ability to comprehend basic math.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to work within a diverse work environment.
  • Highly thorough and dependable.
  • Must be punctual and have a good attendance record.
  • Performs work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Possesses a high degree of initiative.
  • Demonstrates a high level of accuracy, even under pressure.
