Primary Care PNP Leadership Position

The University of New Mexico College of Nursing invites applications for a faculty position in its Primary Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PC-PNP) program. We are seeking an accomplished educator and administrator to lead our program and contribute to the development of future generations of pediatric nurse practitioners.
The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching, mentoring, and overseeing the PC-PNP program to ensure it meets the highest standards outlined by national bodies in nursing education. This includes developing and implementing curriculum plans, evaluating program effectiveness, and driving continuous improvement.
Key Skills and Qualifications:- Doctoral degree (PhD, DNP or equivalent) in a related field
- Proven leadership experience in pediatric nursing education and administration
- Expertise in primary care pediatric nursing practice, with a strong focus on education and research
- Active CPNP-PC national certification and experience teaching relevant courses
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, colleagues, and stakeholders
