Job Summary

Summit Polymers is a leading Tier 1 Automotive Supplier of automotive interior systems. As a world-class automotive supplier of injection molded interior trim, we specialize in the engineering, manufacturing, and assembly of feature-based registers, consoles, and trim panels.

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the handling and storage of materials for all departments, as well as housekeeping activities for the warehouse and dock area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide necessary product and material to production departments as needed.
  • Weigh and label product as needed.
  • Return product to proper storage locations per KanBan system.
  • Shrink wrap finished parts and place in proper storage location.
  • Remove KanBans from empty purchased product containers and place on proper KanBan board.
  • Cross-train in other warehouse functions and perform those functions when necessary.
  • Perform housekeeping activities for warehouse and dock area.
Requirements
  • Requires the ability to obtain a forklift license per OSHA requirements.
  • Possesses the ability to gather and analyze information and make decisions from a limited number of choices.
  • A minimum score of 50 on the Wonderlic Select Assessment.
