As a skilled Nurse Clinician III, you will provide high-quality patient care in our outpatient setting. With a focus on family medicine, you will possess the knowledge and skills to meet the standards for competent professional nursing practice as specified in the Texas Nurse Practice Act.
Responsibilities- Provide patient care through nursing practices based on the American Nurses Association Standards of Professional Practice and Professional Performance.
- Manage unexpected or emergency situations that are commonly seen in the assigned specialty population.
- Serve as a resource for Nurse Clinician I or II and manage commonly seen contingency situations that arise on the clinical unit.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to provide patient-centered care.
- RN with two years of clinical RN experience.
- Current license or valid permit to practice in Texas.
- Current BLS required.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred but not required.
- At least 3 years experience in primary care, ambulatory or outpatient setting.
- Recent IV and blood draw experience, with in-depth knowledge of medication management, wound care, and patient education.
Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm, and as needed on occasion.
