As a New Graduate Nurse RN Float Pool Specialist, you will be part of our esteemed HCA Nurse Residency Program, which provides a supportive environment for you to develop your clinical skills and transition smoothly into your role as a registered nurse.

Your Role and Responsibilities
  • Assess patient condition during admission and throughout each shift, identifying any changes in patient status and reporting them promptly.
  • Perform procedures and monitoring as ordered by medical providers, documenting administration of care in patient medical records in a timely and thorough manner.
  • Administer prescribed medications, monitor patient response, and notify providers if an unintended reaction occurs.
  • Deliver exceptional care by responding promptly to patient requests, anticipating their needs, and resolving them proactively.

You will also have the opportunity to teach patients, families, and caregivers about patient medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, and follow-up measures.

Requirements and Qualifications
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) obtained within 30 days of employment
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) obtained within 1 year of employment
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing
  • Registered Nurse License or Graduate Nurse in the State
