About the Position:
The George Mason University International Tax Office is seeking a part-time specialist to provide data entry and reconciliation, tax research analysis, and policy expertise.
The selected candidate will be given training and access to appropriate Mason systems and must be able to handle confidential information and data as per Mason's policies.
Responsibilities include maintenance and processing of immigration and tax data, research and analysis of tax regulations, and review of U.S. tax status of foreign vendors and scholarship recipients.
Required qualifications include relevant experience in accounting, immigration relations, taxation, data maintenance, processing, reconciliation, or equivalent education.
Preferred qualifications include experience applying tax law to non-immigrant visa holders and foreign vendors, and experience processing information for entry into an ERP system or other software applications.
