Job Title: Continuous Improvement Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Continuous Improvement Manager to join our team in Brookhaven, MS.

As a key member of our Signal & Power Solutions segment, Connection Systems business unit, you will be responsible for driving continuous improvement initiatives and overseeing the maintenance operations to ensure optimal efficiency, safety, and reliability of equipment and processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and implement continuous improvement projects using Lean, Six Sigma, and other methodologies to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality.
  • Conduct regular process reviews, identify areas for improvement, and develop action plans to address inefficiencies.
  • Facilitate training sessions and workshops to educate employees on continuous improvement principles and tools.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Oversee the maintenance team to ensure timely and effective maintenance of equipment and facilities.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of equipment.
  • Coordinate with production and engineering teams to schedule maintenance activities without disrupting operations.
  • Manage the maintenance budget, track expenses, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
  • Promote a safe working environment by providing training and enforcing safety protocols.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in continuous improvement and maintenance management roles, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and develop actionable plans.
  • Proficiency in maintenance management software and tools.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Commitment to safety and compliance standards.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or Black Belt).
  • Experience with Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) practices.
  • Knowledge of automation and modern manufacturing technologies.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
