About the Role

The primary function of the Nuclear Medicine Technologist is to prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals and other medications to patients. This role involves:

  • Administering radiopharmaceuticals and medications for imaging and therapeutic procedures.
  • Processing data and enhancing digital images using advanced technology.
  • Providing images, data analysis, and patient information for diagnostic interpretation.
  • Evaluating images to ensure technical quality and calibration of equipment.
  • Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and guidelines.
  • Delivering quality, cost-effective patient care in a professional manner.
  • Maintaining a patient-focused environment that emphasizes timely and compassionate care.
  • Promoting a safe work environment for staff and patients, adhering to national safety initiatives.
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited program in Nuclear Medicine Technology.
  • Preferred experience of at least eighteen months in a Nuclear Medicine Technologist role, ideally in critical care.
  • Registry certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology.
