Position Overview:
As an Associate at Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC, you will be based in San Francisco, California, and will engage in comprehensive valuation and financial analyses during both buy-side and sell-side mergers and acquisitions (M&A) or financing processes.

Your role will involve presenting findings to corporate clients, financial sponsors, and private investors, as well as scrutinizing accounting and regulatory statements, debt and equity filings, and financial projections to support your analyses.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the industry coverage group and coordinate with clients and various internal teams to facilitate financial transactions.
- Interact with client management and potential investors, analyze financial statements and projections, conduct due diligence, and assist in drafting financing or marketing materials.
- Prepare essential documents for debt, equity, or merger filings, including regulatory submissions.

Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline, along with two (2) years of experience in a similar role.
- Proven experience in structuring, analyzing, and executing transactions exceeding $100 million within the technology, media, and telecommunications sectors, including IPOs and equity offerings.
- Expertise in performing valuation analyses such as discounted cash flow, leveraged buyout, and public trading comparables.

Additional Requirements:
- FINRA Series 79 license is mandatory.
- Willingness to travel up to 20% for client meetings, with travel expenses covered by the Firm.

Compensation:
The anticipated annual base salary for this position ranges from $134,000 to $225,000, with eligibility for a discretionary bonus for active employees at fiscal year-end.
