  • Department: Computerized Tomography CT
  • Shift Timings: 14:00-22:30 Hours
Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilizing computerized tomography machinery to obtain diagnostic images of patients' internal structures.
  • Positioning patients accurately to focus on specific body areas.
  • Conducting routine warm-up procedures on the CT scanner to extend the lifespan of the X-ray tubes.
  • Sanitizing radiologic instruments to ensure patient safety.
  • Interpreting physicians' written scanning directives correctly.
  • Administering radiocontrast agents to enhance the visibility of internal organs and tissues.
  • Assessing CT scans to confirm they meet technical quality standards.
  • Clarifying scanning processes to patients and offering necessary reassurance and support.
Qualifications:
  • BLS and ACLS certifications.
  • National Institutes of Health (NIH) training.
  • Certified Principal Investigator (CPI) certification.
  • Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
  • Ability to stand for prolonged periods.
  • Proficient technical skills.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Commitment to patient care.
  • Minimum of two years of current CT Tech experience.
  • Graduate from an accredited Radiology Tech program.
  • Active, unencumbered CT Tech Illinois state license.
  • One year of Epic experience.
  • ARRT Certification.

  • COVID vaccination with two shots and a booster.
