Job Title: Early Childhood Clinician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Early Childhood Clinician to join our team at Evidence Based Associates. As a key member of our Child First program, you will work closely with families to provide intensive, home-based services to support the healthy development of young children and their caregivers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with families in a collaborative assessment process to develop a thoughtful, well-integrated clinical formulation and Child and Family Plan of Care.
  • Provide relational, dyadic psychotherapy (CPP) and other modalities to support the caregiver-child relationship and promote healthy child development.
  • Help caregivers gain insight into their personal history, feelings for the child, and current parenting practices.
  • Avert crisis situations by assisting families in times of urgent need, in consultation with the Clinical Supervisor.
  • Provide mental health and developmental assessment and consultation within early care and education settings.
  • Embrace the use of videotaping to enhance therapeutic work with families and reflective supervision.
  • Engage in weekly individual, team, and group reflective clinical supervision with the Clinical Supervisor.
  • Participate in all aspects of the Child First Learning Collaborative, including in-person trainings, distance learning curriculum, and specialty trainings.
  • Keep all appropriate documentation for clinical accountability and reimbursement.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, or related field.
  • Experience working psychotherapeutically with culturally diverse children and families, including parent-child therapeutic work and play therapy with very young children (0-5 years).
  • Knowledge and experience working with adults with mental health, substance use, and cognitive challenges.
  • Ability to speak a second language (Spanish, Portuguese, Creole, other), highly valued.
  • Licensed or licensed-eligible (must be able to obtain a preliminary license within two months of employment) Master's or Doctoral level mental health provider.
