About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Sales Associate at Batteries Plus Bulbs. As a Sales Associate, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional customer service and driving sales growth in our retail store.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Greet customers promptly, determine their needs, and answer questions in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Sales: Suggest needed sales add-on items, participate in retail store and commercial sales activities to achieve sales goals.
  • Product Knowledge: Develop and maintain current knowledge of product and service offerings, including batteries, light bulbs, and accessory items.
  • Inventory Management: Rotate and stock inventory, perform inventory counts as required, and maintain retail shelf label pricing.
  • Merchandising: Build displays, set up and take down shelves and fixtures, and prepare the store for daily opening and closing.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent and 6 months prior work experience preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Skills: Good listening and verbal communication skills, organizational and analytical problem-solving skills, ability to handle multiple projects/tasks, and basic math skills.
  • Experience: Prior retail experience preferred but not required.
