Laboratory Operator

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Laboratory Operator to join our team at LyondellBasell. As a Laboratory Operator, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products by performing various laboratory tests and analyses.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct quality control tests on raw materials and finished products to ensure compliance with company standards.
- Operate laboratory equipment, including spectrophotometers, chromatographs, and other analytical instruments.
- Collect and analyze data from laboratory tests to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of laboratory tests and results.
- Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline, such as chemistry or biology.
- At least 6 months of experience in a laboratory setting, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
