Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality patient care, adhering to our hospital's philosophy and objectives.
- Prescribe, delegate, and coordinate all nursing care provided to assigned patients, ensuring compliance with performance, nursing practice, and nursing care standards.
- Assess and reassess patient condition, initiate a plan of care, and begin discharge planning on admission.
- Maintain and apply current nursing standards and clinical competency, including the National Patient Safety Goals, and apply critical thinking skills to prioritize and problem-solve.
- Meet the personal and practical needs of patients and families, using effective communication skills.
- Accept accountability for completion of assignments, demonstrate reliability and dependability, and utilize time and material cost-effectively.
- Continue self-development, provide leadership, and actively participate in Performance Improvement Activities. Direct others as needed.
- Reflect facility values and its ethical and compliance principles in daily activities.
Requirements:
Acute Care or Critical Care experience is strongly preferred.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Current Georgia RN licensure or compact license
- Current CPR certification issued by American Heart Association
- ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire
- Certification in specialty area preferred
Compensation:
Pay Rates:
Up to $39.56/hr. (based on years of experience)
Shift Diffs:
Nights $3.25/hr.; Wknds $3/hr.
