The selected candidate will be responsible for conducting diagnostic imaging procedures utilizing state-of-the-art MRI technology. We are looking for an individual who possesses the necessary skills to assist in accurately diagnosing medical conditions while demonstrating empathy and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

Specific Duties Include:

  • Prepare patients for MRI examinations and provide clear explanations of the procedures
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of human anatomy, physiology, and pathology to ensure high-quality imaging
  • Execute imaging protocols based on patient evaluations
  • Implement safety measures for both patients and staff during MRI procedures
  • Educate patients regarding MRI processes and the use of contrast agents
  • Contribute to the training and development of fellow staff members and students
  • Uphold ethical standards in all aspects of patient care
  • Promptly report any equipment malfunctions
  • Complete quality assurance tasks as required
  • Utilize basic computer skills for documentation purposes
  • Be available for scheduled on-call shifts

Qualifications

Educational Background

  • Associate degree in Radiologic Technology

Licensure and Certification

  • Current BLS certification
  • ARRT RT(R)(MR) certification is mandatory

Experience and Skills

  • A minimum of one year of relevant technical experience is preferred
