Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Imaging Nurse Specialist to join our team. As a Diagnostic Imaging Nurse Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of all diagnostic imaging procedures and services to patients. Your duties will include interacting with administration, medical staff, and department directors to provide quality patient care.

You will participate in Quality Improvement activities to continually improve department performance and strive to make productive use of time through careful coordination of daily tasks, setting priorities, and reducing non-essential interruptions.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Licensed as a Florida Registered Nurse in accordance with state regulations or appropriate compact licensure.
  • Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
  • Previous experience in an acute care setting strongly preferred.
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • Required experience in IR or Cath Lab experience.
  • Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills.
