- EFM - Electronic Fetal Monitoring
- Tech Cert Verification - National
- HIPAA Safety Manual Acknowledgement
- State License - Copy of Professional License
- State License 1 Verification
- NURSYS Verification (RN, LPN/LVN, AP)
- NIH Stroke Certification
- CPI - Crisis Prevention Institute
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a relevant nursing role.
- Traveler Experience: Not required.
- Shift Details: Night shifts, 3x12-hour schedule, totaling 36 or 48 hours per week.
- Contract Duration: Accepting contracts ranging from 13 to 26 weeks.
- RTO: Maximum of 7 days; Float Requirement: Yes.
- Weekend Commitment: 4 weekends per 6 weeks.
- Additional Responsibilities: May be required to work during catastrophic events and mass casualty situations.
- Unit Orientation: 24 hours.
- Scrubs: Navy color.
- Telemetry and PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown experience.
- Ability to interpret dysrhythmias and conduct remote monitoring.
- Experience with pre/post cardiac catheterization and surgery.
- Competence in accessing ports and managing central lines.
- Cardiac drip management, including Diltiazem and Amiodarone.
- Certification in ACLS is required.
- Preferred: NIH certification and charge nurse experience.
- Must pass EKG testing prior to commencement.
- Unit specializes in monitoring cardiac patients.
- Involves administration of cardiac drips and management of sheaths.
- Common patient diagnoses include Congestive Heart Failure and Arrhythmias.
- Accounting documents and critical forms are required.
- Photograph for badge requirements must be provided.
